Are you in your
final year of university or a
recent graduate with a degree in Life Sciences (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology ) or a related field? If you are looking for a way to start your career in the life sciences and biotech industry, but don't want to work in a lab, then this internship is for you.


By joining the Saphetor Internship Programme, you will have an exciting and unique opportunity to
gain commercial experience in a world-class organization Our program is designed to stimulate your personal development through on-the-job learning,
including a substantive project assignment.

This placement is with our
Marketing team belonging to the Commercial Division. **You will be responsible for product operations on a new offering, as well as supporting its sales and marketing.

A Little Bit About Us:

Saphetor SA is a precision medicine company based in Switzerland with offices in Lausanne, Athens and Boston, whose goal is to improve outcomes for patients by supporting clinicians with data-driven solutions to analyze and interpret Next Generation Sequencing data. Saphetor's variant interpretation platform, VarSome, is used by researchers and clinicians in hundred of countries around the globe.

What will you learn with us?

You will gain experience in the following areas:

  • Productivity tools to support effective planning and efficient project management
  • Working with a Customer Relationship Management tool (HubSpot) to manage accounts and commercial campaigns
  • Nurturing and developing client relationships
  • Developing sales and marketing messaging
  • Content creation and design
  • Working across a global multidiscipline team

What are the basics?

  • You are a interested in learning about the healthcare industry and the business of life science organizations
  • You are a Senior Student or Recent Graduate with successful studies in Life Sciences (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology ) or a related field
  • You have a strong command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • You possess some knowledge in CRM systems (is considered a plus)
  • As a person, you are a fast learner and quick to grasp new concepts and software products. Your communication skills characterize you, and you are eager to work in a global team
