What's in it for you?
As Cash & Bank Polestar Manager you are part of the Global Accounting Delivery (GAD). The C&B team is providing bank accounting services to Polestar, our startup company within Volvo Cars. Polestar was acquired in 2015 by Volvo Cars and is listed on Nasdaq (US).

Our focus is to deliver compliant and quality assured financial information faster and smarter to support business decisions. In GAD, dedicated professionals are working in a dynamic and customer focused environment.

We are currently serving a variety of customers in the Volvo Car Group, such as Global Online Experience and Polestar to mention a few.

We are now looking to grow our Financial team in Madrid. The role is situated in the Volvo Cars office in Madrid (metro Cuzco). Currently, we are around 300 employees from more than 20 different nationalities.

What you'll do


Through your financial expertise and sound judgement, you will manage and lead a group of accounting professionals from a diverse number of countries.

You will be responsible for the daily operations performed by the team, as well as the monthly and Year End closure of the books.

You will Ideally have a holistic view of treasury accounting processes and knowledge of B2C direct sales.

Banking and online payment system knowledge is a plus.

You will aid in ensuring audit goals of the team are provided on time as well as working directly with the HQ treasury.

Who are you

We are looking for someone with a background in finance or equivalent and around 10-15 years of experience in finance roles.

You preferably a have background in Bank Integration into ERPs as well as treasury systems and payment platforms. Some accounting experience and general knowledge would be a plus. We are truly looking for a team member with great team spirit, eager to learn new business models and develop new processes
