As we grow, we are looking for an energetic leader for the Sales Team to help the Preply Business team achieve high Sales growth in EMEA.


What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the Mid Market sales channel for Preply in the EMEA
  • Two to four direct report sales managers and approximately 20 AE's indirect reports
  • Create a high energy, process driven sales environment and sales floor in our Barcelona office
  • Provide regular coaching to your manager direct reports
  • Be the sales process leader, ensuring adherence to the Preply prescribed sales process
  • Demonstrate by leading key prospect calls
  • Monitor and drive key metrics including Sales Conversion (from Opportunity creation to Closed Won), Average order value (account size), and activity metrics
  • Own the MM and SMB pipeline and ensure it is constantly updated and forecasted
  • Provide regular updates to leadership regarding market status, including reporting metrics, team KPIs and other data points this includes analysis of historicals and pipeline management for forecast accuracy
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement
  • Execute a leadership ladder to ensure we always have the management to scale
  • Become an authority on each part of your region and define strategic bets that make sense for each market
  • Inspire your team through impactful leadership to continuously hit and exceed sales targets

What you need to succeed:

  • 57 years overall management experiencE
  • 35 years managing other sales managers.
  • You were a top performing sales rep, sales manager and office/regional leader.
  • Experience scaling a team, onboarding and hiring
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets, coaching diverse teams, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Strong aptitude in relationship building, forecasting, strategic partnerships, collaboration, and industry networking.
  • Decisive leadership and a bias towards action that prioritizes the success of your entire team, even if that means making tough individual decisions
  • You're a natural leader. You know how to influence people to get things done across any job function. People love working with you.
  • Excellent English language skills are a must
  • Knowledge of at least two other languages is a plus
