Position Overview

The Strategic Territory Sales Representative is responsible for creating new business in Strategic Territory customers to meet financial goals. You will have a sales quota and performance is measured by meeting quarterly and annual targets within a list of accounts. You will report to a Territory Hub Sales Manager and will integrate with a sales team that includes customer success specialists, partners, technical sales, client services, and marketing, to help drive growth within assigned accounts through opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for a defined territory, generate and close deals within these accounts by developing existing accounts and building effective account plans
  • Identify decision-makers and influencers with their business needs
  • Ensure that customers' needs are understood and addressed by articulating how Autodesk solutions will accelerate their business
  • Experience balancing multiple sales opportunities, forecasting accurately, and building relationships
  • Manage in-person sales meetings with decision-makers to close deals
  • Partner with Customer Success, License Compliance, Digital sales team to drive sales and gain market share
  • Engage with teams including presales, consultants, field sales, partners, and services to add value for customers

Minimum Qualifications

  • Professional experience in an inside sales role, selling complex software solutions
  • Passionate about sales and continually improving your skills
  • Autonomous, collaborative work style
  • Knowledge or interest in high-tech industries is a plus
  • Fluency in English is a must + a Nordic language
