Who are we looking for?:


We are looking for an Engineer specialized in Solar photovoltaic energy to join our Customer Success team for the Italian region.


  • Optimize the designs of clients for better and more realistic results maximizing the value that the product delivers.
  • Provide technical support and training sessions to both current and potential clients.
  • Assist the corresponding Customer Success Manager in their assigned markets.
  • Provide technical support to the Marketing team to generate content.
  • Improve customer onboarding processes.
  • Evaluate and improve tutorials and other communication infrastructure.
  • When discovering new features, help ideate potential solutions & improvements alongside the Product team.
  • When launching new features to production, being part of the Quality Assurance team to ensure that everything in the product is working as expected.

Required skills:

  • Recent graduate or student in last year of an engineering degree (preferably Industrial or Energy Engineering)
  • Knowledge in the design and development of solar PV plants.
  • Native Italian and excellent interpersonal and written communication in English (C1)

Desired skills:

  • Masters degree in Industrial Engineering or Renewable Energy.
  • Work experience in solar PV.
  • Professional knowledge in other languages (Spanish, French, German, Italian, etc.).
  • Passion in finding the best solution to customer questions/issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
  • Analytical mind with creative problemsolving abilities.
  • Strong work ethic, team player, and eagerness to learn.
  • Sociable, curious, open minded and creative.

At RatedPower we are on a mission to accelerate the energy transition by increasing the global solar energy capacity through disrupting and user-friendly cloud-based solutions.

We have created pvDesign, a cloud-based software that automates and optimizes the analysis, design, and engineering of photovoltaic plants in all its stages.

Only in 2020, our clients have been able to execute an extra 147 projects that they would have been able without pvDesign, totalising 8.82GW installed/year.

It's the equivalent to the electricity consumption of 4.5 million households worldwide.

This leads to an annual reduction of 6 million tons of CO2 and an annual decrease of 9 million oil barrels.


By merging technology and engineering, we aim to strengthen the renewable energy industry, bringing cost reduction and maximizing the efficiency of solar plant deployment.
