Channel Partners Contracts Representative:

About the role:


As part of the Channel Partners Contracts Management Team, the Channel Partners Contracts Representative is responsible of the management of all contracts with Channel Partners - CP - (intended as Global and Local Distributors and Agents) for relevant countries (Spain & Portugal) with reference to the administrative and compliance activities in full adherence with the Company Policies and regulations and all local and foreign applicable laws.


In this role, you will be responsible to:

  • Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and non-standard contracts according to business needs.
  • Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration also related to acquired Companies in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and business needs.
  • Draft and execute Channel Partners contracts in agreement with Legal Department.
  • Adhere to company policies, legal requirements, Quality requirements and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Grant timely implementation of new Channel Partners' agreements in compliance with the applicable Boston Scientific Policies/Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Implement the yearly contracts' renewal process and the infraannual amendments required to change contracts' existing terms and conditions.
  • Finalize the termination process of existing contracts in conjunction with Legal, Quality, Finance and Business Unit Managers
  • BUM.
  • Deal with Channel Partners and internal stakeholders involved in the Channel Partners' management (Channel Partner Business Lead/Divisional Business Managers/Distributor Relationship Managers/Business Unit Managers/ Business Unit Directors/Area Managers/Divisional Financial Planning Analyst/Local and Corporate Legal/Corporate Compliance/ Quality/Finance Controller) in order to grant compliance and adherence with all applicable laws and regulations and internal Policies and Standard Operating Procedures with reference to Channel Partners' management.
  • Maintain and update local records and registries as needed, and the Global tools used for Channel Partners management.
  • Support internal and external periodical Audits (Compliance/Legal/Quality), both remotely and on site, to ensure positive outcome/results and participates in the remediation plans.

What are we looking for in you:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law (preferred), Politics or Economy
  • Languages: fluent in English and Spanish
  • IT skills: Microsoft Office
  • Travel: occasionally
  • Preferably 12 years' experience in legal firms or multinational companies in the legal or finance departments with focus on contracts
  • Problemsolving and proactive attitude
  • Good communication skills, in order to collaborate with different stakeholders
  • A team member able to make recommendations from their point of view.
