About the role:

Digital.ai’s “Developing Secure, Quality Mobile Applications”, a combination of Application Protection, Application Testing and supporting Metrics, is a solution that helps organisations innovate and deliver securely, quality software with the ability to protect IP, customer data, and brand reputation by building security into the apps balanced with the need for performance, accessibility, and operational efficiency. We help security, testing and application leaders shift left to add security and quality at the build stage and protect apps by securing the CI/CD cycle, obfuscating code without requiring developers and testers to learn new techniques, preventing reverse engineering, and tampering with applications. The Iberia Senior Sales Engineer for Application Security will drive business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise on the Application Protection and Testing landscape using Digital.ai’s security and quality products. The role will emphasise tech technical discovery and solution alignment to customer needs for application protection, applying technical knowledge to develop solutions that support sales goals.

In this role, you can expect to:

Lead as a domain expert in Digital.ai Application Security products, acting as the technical lead on strategic client relationships across industry verticals.Position mobile quality best practices based on Digital.ai’s Continuous Testing platform and support Quality Metrics.Lead sales engineering activities, including technical discovery, qualification, technical value proposition, architectural guidance, marketing campaign support, RFP responses, and maintaining key client relationships.Ability to provide expert guidance on application security, cryptography, encryption, and other security concepts with solid abilities in mobile and web application development, release management, automation, and IT operations.Ability to position Quality best practices, working with other domain experts across the Sales Engineering team as appropriate.Establish and understand the overall Digital.ai technology portfolio, key go-to-market solutions, and the competitive landscape.Help sell and foster ongoing customer success with an emphasis on Enterprise clients in Spain and across Iberia.Work closely with key decision-makers on demos and proof-of-values to ensure the product or solution meets the client’s business and technical objectives.Build positive relationships with account executives, customer support, and others within the wider account team.Travel internationally within Iberia, the EMEA region and occasionally internationally.

What you'll bring:

Bachelor’s degree or similar programme from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience 5+ years of Technical Pre-Sales / Sales Engineering experience in the Application Security domain or equivalent experience as a practitionerAbility to conduct technical discovery and qualification of prospect’s needs.Self-motivated and can project manage proof of value engagements.Displayed proficiency with C/C++ to conduct proof-of-values.Also preferred are Java/Kotlin/JavaScript/Objective-C/Swift coding and Python suitable for Proof-of-Value technical validation.Mobile application development experience is a huge plus.Strong skills with compilers and linkers, XCode and Visual Studio. Command line tool programming, web front-end development frameworks such as Angular/Vue/React, XML and JSON, operating systems Windows/Mac/LinuxFamiliarity with de-compilers such as JADX, IDA, and Hopper.Understanding of binary analysis and binary structure, SAST, DAST.Ethical Hacking experience Exposure to quality and testing solutions suitable for mobile development is preferred.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse, globally distributed team.
