Inside Sales Engineer

Join our dynamic sales team as an Internal Sales Engineer and play a crucial role in shaping the solutions we provide in the Measurement & Analytical segment. This position is based in Madrid, Alcobendas and is key to maintaining our commitment to excellence and achieving our ambitious goals. Here, your technical expertise and market insight will directly contribute to our growth and customer satisfaction.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be**:
- **Proposal Management**: Qualify and respond to sales inquiries by creating detailed proposals that showcase our comprehensive product and solutions portfolio. Ensure proposals are technically accurate, commercially viable, and tailored to maximize booking opportunities and enhance the quote-to-order ratio.
- **Operational Efficiency**: Manage the accurate entry of sales orders into the system using standardized processes. Ensure all data is verified for accuracy and maintain delegated authorities.
- **Collaboration and Alignment**: Work closely with Field Sales and Account Management teams to align efforts, share market intelligence, and develop pricing strategies that are consistent with overall business goals and account plans.
- **Customer and Internal Support**: Support Outside Sales Engineers by distributing marketing materials and assist in managing customer relationships through CRM tools. Address any customer clarifications and liaise with Credit Management to resolve invoice issues and support financial health.

- **Sales Acumen**: Basic knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, with the ability to engage effectively in technical and commercial discussions.
- **Process Proficiency**: Awareness of industry processes and business systems, which is crucial for navigating the operational aspects of the role.
- **Effective Communication**: Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively, crucial for interacting with teammates and customers alike, ensuring clarity in all exchanges.
- **Team Collaboration**: Adeptness at working cooperatively within diverse teams, contributing positively to team dynamics and shared goals.
- **Customer Orientation**: A commitment to understanding and prioritizing customer needs, ensuring customer satisfaction through attentive service and tailored solutions.
**Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart**:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related technical field/ equivalent practical experience)
- Proficiency in English. Additional language skills relevant to the Spain and Portugal markets are a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and other business management tools.
