Closing Manager / Legal Operations — Christie’s International Real Estate Barcelona At Christie’s International Real Estate Barcelona, we are seeking a highly accomplished Closing Manager / Legal Operations professional to lead our signatures department, ensuring the level of precision, discretion, and excellence that defines our brand in every transaction.
What you will do
- Oversee the full transaction lifecycle, from reservation agreements to final registration
- Draft and review deposit agreements, reservations, and purchase options
- Conduct thorough due diligence: land registry checks, encumbrances, urban planning, community status, occupancy certificates, and energy performance certificates
- Coordinate seamlessly with notaries, financial institutions, and legal/administrative partners
- Manage tax settlements (ITP, AJD, capital gains, IRNR for non-residents)
- Provide direct, high-touch service to both buyers and sellers, with a strong international client focusWhat we are looking for
- 3+ years’ experience as a notary officer, real estate paralegal, or transaction manager
- In-depth knowledge of the end-to-end property transaction process in Catalonia
- Fluent English (C1 level;
part of the interview will be conducted in English)
- A meticulous, highly organized professional with a refined and confident presenceWe value
- Experience working with international clients (NIE, IRNR, asset-holding structures)
- Additional languages such as French or German
- Background in luxury real estate or high-end legal practicesWhat
