Penspen www.penspen.com are looking for a dynamic Procurement Engineer/Buyer. The primary location is Madrid, Spain, you may be required to travel & work in Al Khafji, KSA at some stage. Main Purpose Of The Role The Procurement Engineer/ Buyer may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMC project team environment. They may have engineer grade personnel under his responsibility and will be tasked with their control and management and the delegation of activities to such support personnel. They may work under the supervision of a Lead Engineer in which case his responsibilities will be as delegated. The Procurement Engineer/ Buyer may be in charge of any or all of the following tasks. The position is to be based in Spain, Europe. Knowledge / Experience (Skills) 12 years of experience with Project Management Procurement and Supply activities 4 years experience managing materials procurement and tracking activities for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects. Background on contracts administration is required. Only apply if you have evidence of working with Project in excess of (US $100 million plus). Must have Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Diploma or Equivalent with a Certificate from a recognized agency in Business Procurement.
