Wood is recruiting for a Mechanical Discipline Manager to join its Power &Industrial, Steam Generation System (Boilers) business, global leader in the delivery of project, engineering, equipment and technical services to the energy and industrial markets.

- Drives and assures contract specifications, applicable codes and company procedures are fulfilled.
- Prepares, verifies and/or approves main technical data sheets , specifications, calculations and drawings.
- Ensures the successful completion of the section's assigned deliverables in accordance with contract requirements, within the project or proposal's budgeted time and cost constraints
- Responsible for managing and developing section resources and ensuring governance of engineering practices and procedures
- Regularly report on project progress and any additional needs to the Head of Engineering
- Manage the utilization of engineering resources to minimize non-productive time and manage overhead budget.
- Closely operates with all other disciplines to improve the project execution performance in line with project needs

Expected:
- Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- More than 15 years relevant experience in Power Plant Projects
- Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
- Good organization, written and oral skills.
- Problem-Solving
- Leadership: The ability to guide and inspire the team towards achieving their goals.
- Knowledge of American and International Standards and Codes.
- Knowledge of PV Elite
- Knowledge Caesar II
- Knowledge of AutoCAD /AVEVA E3D
- Advanced user of MS Office specially EXCEL
Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required.
