Our client, a renowned global healthcare leader, is seeking a SAP Source to Pay (Functional Consultant) to drive their procurement and financial transformation initiatives. This role involves analyzing, designing, and configuring SAP's Source to Pay (S2P) processes, including SAP S/4HANA (MM, FI), SAP Ariba, and SAP Fieldglass, to optimize end-to-end procurement operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure seamless alignment between SAP functionalities and organizational goals.

Note: This is a contractual role which will run through 2026. The candidate must be flexible to work in the client's preferred time zone, which may include EST or CEST

The Role:
  • Lead the analysis, design, and configuration of end-to-end Source to Pay (S2P) processes in SAP S/4HANA (MM, FI, CO), SAP Ariba (Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts, Invoicing), and SAP Fieldglass (Vendor Management).
  • Collaborate with business process owners to gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements.
  • Configure SAP workflows, approvals, and business rules to streamline procurement, invoicing, and payment processes.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current-state and future-state processes, recommending best-practice solutions.
  • Develop functional specifications for custom developments, integrations, and reports in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Lead user training sessions and create training materials (e.g., user manuals, process guides) for SAP S2P modules.
  • Support system testing (SIT, UAT) and go-live activities, ensuring smooth transition and adoption.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, compliance, and user experience in SAP S2P processes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Ariba and Fieldglass, providing guidance on industry trends and innovations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience as a SAP Functional Consultant, with a focus on Source to Pay (S2P) processes.
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA (MM, FI, CO), SAP Ariba (Procure-to-Pay, Sourcing, Contracts), and SAP Fieldglass.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, including vendor management, sourcing, contracting, invoicing, and payments.
  • Experience in configuring SAP workflows, approvals, and business rules for procurement and financial operations.
  • Knowledge of SAP integration with third-party systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, and legacy systems).
  • Familiarity with SAP analytics tools (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud, SAC, and embedded analytics).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and IT teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a process-oriented mindset.
  • Experience in Agile or hybrid project methodologies is preferred.
  • Experience in Healthcare/ Pharma industry is a strong plus.
