About the Role
Drive sales growth of the company's personal care chemical raw materials (e.g., surfactants, emulsifiers) in the EMEA region by developing and maintaining high-value client relationships. Achieve regional sales targets, expand market share, and leverage professional technical insights to enhance customer stickiness.
Responsibilities
- Market Development
- Independently acquire new clients (cosmetics brands, OEM/ODM manufacturers, distributors) across the EMEA region and establish long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
Analyze regional market trends, customer demand dynamics, and competitor activities to develop data-driven, targeted sales strategies.
Account Management
- Maintain and grow key accounts by providing professional technical solutions (backed by expertise in chemical/Polymer Materials) to address customer product formulation and application needs, ensuring sustained order growth and high customer satisfaction.
Coordinate with internal technical R&D and supply chain teams to efficiently resolve custom product development, delivery, and post-sales technical issues.
Sales Target Achievement
- Develop quarterly/annual sales plans aligned with company KPIs (revenue, profit margin, payment collection) and execute proactively to meet or exceed targets.
Manage the sales pipeline rigorously, track progress, identify potential risks, and report regularly to the International Sales Director.
Cross-Regional Collaboration
- Partner with global product and marketing teams to localize new product launches, promote technical advantages, and relay regional customer needs/technical requirements to support product optimization.
Qualifications
- Educational Background
Bachelor's degree or above in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Materials Science, Materials Chemistry, or related disciplines; professional academic background is a key advantage for technical client communication and solution provision.
Experience
- 3+ years of sales experience in chemical raw materials, with a proven track record in personal care/cosmetic ingredients (e.g., moisturizers, actives, thickeners, preservatives).
- Experience working in international chemical companies is strongly preferred.
Existing EMEA client network, independent business development capability, and distribution channel management experience are a plus.
Competencies
- Expertise in complex B2B sales processes targeting technical decision-makers (R&D, procurement) and the ability to bridge technical and commercial needs.
Exceptional cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; adaptability to multi-timezone collaboration.
Language
- Business-level English (mandatory). Fluency in Spanish/French/German is highly preferred.
