As
Sales Manager
, you will be responsible for driving commercial performance within Spain. You lead a team of sales professionals, manage strategic customer relationships, and ensure the execution of the company's sales strategy. Operating within a global organization, you play a key role in expanding market share, achieving revenue targets, and delivering value to industrial customers across sectors such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and packaging.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Lead the sales team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities across industries and regions.
  • Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring consistent achievement of revenue and profitability goals.
  • Support the team in developing tailored solutions that address customer pain points and business challenges.

Sales Planning, Forecasting & Reporting

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies, including territory planning and industry targeting.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure data integrity and process discipline in CRM usage across the team.

Product & Market Expertise

  • Ensure the team maintains strong product knowledge and can articulate technical and commercial value.
  • Encourage solution selling and consultative approaches tailored to customer needs.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Service, Engineering, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless customer experience.
  • Support post-sales activities and customer success initiatives.

Profile

  • University Degree in Engineering, ideally Chemical Engineering
  • Strong experience in B2B sales, ideally in industrial or technical sectors
  • Familiarity with vacuum technologies or related industrial solutions is a plus
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop sales teams
  • Strong customer orientation and relationship-building skills
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration with internal departments
  • Monitor pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales activities using CRM tools.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership
  • Clear and persuasive communication with stakeholders
  • Fluent language skills in Spanish and English
  • Valid Driver's License
