SAL is a contemporary luxury apparel brand shaped by the ocean and coastal culture. Built around limited editions, refined materials, and a deliberate design language, SAL is developing its online presence with the same discipline and restraint that defines its collections.

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Manager with a strong background in premium or luxury fashion to lead the development of SAL's social presence from the ground up.

The Role

This is a strategic, brand-building role, not a junior or content-volume position.

You will be responsible for defining how SAL exists online—its tone, rhythm, visual discipline, and sense of restraint—while building a relevant, engaged audience over time. The focus is on quality, clarity, and long-term brand equity, not short-term trends.

Working with a limited set of carefully produced assets, you will manage, curate, and develop content that reflects the brand's values and positioning.

Remote, part-time (approximately 10–20 hours per week).

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage SAL's social media presence in line with its luxury positioning
  • Build the brand's online identity with consistency, restraint, and editorial clarity
  • Develop a thoughtful content strategy and posting cadence aligned with collections and brand moments
  • Work confidently with less content, not more—prioritising quality over frequency
  • Curate and adapt brand assets and campaigns
  • Guide audience growth and engagement in a manner appropriate to a premium brand
  • Monitor performance and audience signals, refining approach without compromising brand integrity
  • Ensure all content reflects SAL's visual and editorial standards

Profile & Experience

  • 4–7 years of experience managing social media for a premium, luxury, or design-led brand
  • Strong background in fashion, lifestyle, or luxury is essential
  • Demonstrated experience building a brand's social presence from an early or growth stage
  • Exceptional editorial judgment and visual sensitivity
  • Clear understanding of how scarcity, restraint, and confidence function in luxury branding
  • Excellent writing skills with clarity, precision, and restraint
  • Highly organised, consistent, and detail-oriented
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to execute independently
  • Fluency in English is required
