This project aims to support the creation of a print & play book focused on raising awareness about cybersecurity and highlighting the role of women in this field. The book will consist of several chapters, each presenting a narrative escape room in which the reader must solve a cybersecurity-related challenge using cryptographic tools and digital resources.

The book is designed as a pedagogical resource intended for classroom use, with easy implementation for teachers. For this reason, it will also include a teaching guide to help connect the content with the current educational curriculum and to facilitate its use in educational settings.

In addition to the creation of the book, the project also includes support for related outreach activities such as presentations, workshops, and science communication events.

Ultimately, the project seeks to promote the learning of cryptography, cybersecurity, and digital skills in a playful and participatory way, combining storytelling, puzzle-solving, and gamification.

Funció a desenvolupar/ Tasks to be performed:

  • Donar suport en el disseny de reptes lúdics en format escape room adaptats a continguts de ciberseguretat i criptografia./ Support the design of playful challenges in escape room format adapted to cybersecurity and cryptography content.

  • Codissenyar l'estructura narrativa del llibre, assegurant la coherència entre les històries i els continguts pedagògics./ Co-design the narrative structure of the book, ensuring consistency between the storyline and pedagogical content.

  • Desenvolupar mecàniques de joc aplicables al format print & play, assegurant la seva viabilitat i atractiu per a l'alumnat./ Develop game mechanics suitable for the print & play format, ensuring their feasibility and appeal for students.

  • Col·laborar en l'elaboració de la guia didàctica per a docents, connectant els reptes amb el currículum educatiu./Collaborate in the creation of the teaching guide for educators, aligning the challenges with the educational curriculum.

  • Participar en la creació de materials auxiliars per a la impressió i ús en l'aula (targetes, pistes, mapes, instruccions...)./Participate in the development of supplementary classroom materials for printing and use (cards, clues, maps, instructions, etc.).

  • Assessorar en la gamificació general del projecte, incloent propostes per a tallers, activitats de presentació o esdeveniments de divulgació vinculats al llibre./Advise on the overall gamification strategy of the project, including proposals for workshops, launch events, and outreach activities related to the book.

  • Realitzar reunions periòdiques amb l'equip per fer seguiment del desenvolupament del projecte i aportar millores creatives./Attend regular meetings with the team to monitor project progress and contribute creative improvements.
