Responsibilities
Your role as a Manager will involve:
- Build on and foster awareness of IE University in Spain.
- Participate in appropriate recruitment & enrollment activities, including fairs, local or regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days, etc.
- Plan, manage, & implement business development and commercial activities to promote IE's Master and Executive Education programs.
- Increase the number of applications, thereby developing a healthy and steady pipeline of candidates.
- Develop new sales & marketing channels along with strategic partnerships with companies, institutions, and associations to promote IE's Master and Executive Education Programs.
- Benchmark competitors focusing mainly on their commercial activities and program offerings.
- Coordinate with various IE departments to maximize the institution's recognition.
- Build a network of contacts to promote & strengthen the IE University brand.
Qualifications
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Our ideal candidate must have great commercial skills as well as be an advocate of technology usage to manage the candidate experience.
- An MBA or a Master's degree from IE University or another leading school
- At least three years of professional experience in marketing, communications, business development, and/or sales.
- Proficiency in English is fundamental. Knowledge of other European languages would be beneficial.
- Experience in an international environment.
- Proven communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and commercial drive.
- Must exhibit strong teamwork capability and a positive customer-oriented style.
- Analytical and numerical skills.
- Must be strategic, innovative, creative, and embrace new approaches and technology
- Solution-oriented and a positive/can-do attitude.
- The position requires travel, mainly within Spain, including overnight stays away from Madrid.
- Legal authorization to work in Spain
This position is a part of the Global Markets Department, and the successful candidate would report to the Regional Director for Spain. Performance is measured twice annually, and compensation is reflective of individual and team performance.
