In addition to our advisory business, Cooach operates its own investment company together with external investors, where we actively invest in debt, equity, and project financing. As a result, a significant part of our work is closely linked to investment processes, including financial analysis, due diligence, structuring, ongoing reporting, and follow-up for both investors and portfolio companies.

Due to continued growth, we are now looking for an experienced Finance Manager with strong senior accounting expertise and in-depth knowledge of Swedish accounting standards, who is keen to combine accounting and reporting with advisory work within corporate finance.

The position is remote first, with the opportunity to be involved in building and further developing our physical offices in, among other locations, Madrid and Málaga.

Your New Role

This is a broad and varied senior position in which you will work closely with clients in both recurring accounting assignments and project-based consulting engagements. You will report to the COO and act as a financial advisor on financing-related matters, while also being involved in due diligence processes, financial reviews, and analytical work supporting investment and credit decisions.

The role is well suited for a natural leader who enjoys combining hands-on accounting, financial analysis, and client-facing advisory work in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities

Client Responsibility & Advisory

• Responsibility for your own client portfolio, including monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Supporting our accounting team in accounting, reporting, and compliance-related matters
• Ongoing client interaction and financial advisory services
• Consulting assignments related to financing, restructurings, and financial decision-making
• Ensuring high quality and accuracy in all financial deliverables

Corporate Finance, Analysis & Due Diligence

• Participation in due diligence processes related to financing, lending, and investment transactions
• Financial analysis and review of historical and forecasted financial information
• Assessment of financial risks and key value drivers
• Preparation of reports, memoranda, and decision-support material for investors and lenders

Your Profile

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, or transaction-related roles
• Solid experience with monthly and annual financial closings
• Experience from larger organizations, audit firms, corporate finance, or transaction services is considered a strong merit
• Experience in due diligence, transaction support, or financing-related advisory is a plus

Education & Skills

• Academic degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or equivalent
• Strong expertise in Swedish accounting standards
• Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Spanish is an advantage but not a requirement
