Record to Report Senior Manager – Head of Accounting

At LHH, we are partnering with a leading multinational company in its sector to find a
Senior R2R Manager
to lead the global finance area from Madrid. This person will be key in process development, definition, and automation.

Reporting to the Global CFO in Europe, you will be
responsible for:

  • Leading and developing the local accounting and reporting team in an international, high-growth environment.
  • Overseeing and coordinating the entire Record to Report cycle: journal entries, adjustments, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, month-end and year-end closes, and reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with international and local regulations, collaborating with internal and external auditors.
  • Integrating group companies and entities, including their systems and regulations.
  • Monitoring KPIs and SLAs to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of financial services.
  • Identifying opportunities for automation and digitalization (ERP, RPA, PowerBI) to optimize processes.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders across Europe, reporting to the European CFO.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or similar.
  • Experience leading R2R processes and/or general accounting in multinational environments.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Advanced English; other languages are a plus.
  • Experience in process improvement and automation.
  • International, adaptable and proactive profile.
  • Experience leading international teams.
