We are a high-growth startup that, above all, prioritizes people and the planet. We have the support of investors such as Seaya and Pelion Green Future and our team is constantly growing. Therefore, we are looking to expand our commercial team with several Sales Executive positions.
In line with our values, at Samara we firmly believe that the climate crisis is the biggest challenge facing our generation. Housing, in particular, is one of the main sources of carbon emissions in developed countries. We are optimistic by nature and think it is possible to do things differently: one that combines electrification, distributed generation, energy storage and software that enables more efficient energy management.

About the role
In this sales Internship, you will have the opportunity to impact the bottom line and create new business opportunities for Samara. You'll be finding and qualifying high potential leads, and will pass them to the senior sales team to take forward. Your role determines the success and pace of growth of the entire company – developing the pipeline of future paying customers.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to develop their career in the sales area of a fast-growing startup.
What are you going to do?
You will be part of the initial Sales team and you will be the first point of contact with potential Samara customers. These will be some of your duties:
- Inbound and Outbound lead generation activities to support the sales teams
- Maintain CRM meticulously and ensure that all prospect information is updated
- Continuously working to improve the sales process and increase efficiency
- Create excellent templates for emails and phone calls, and constantly test & iterate to improve them
- Achieve your monthly goal of qualified opportunities for the sales team
- Gain a deep understanding of the Solar installation process and requirements to answer the prospect's initial questions
- Learning for best-in-class sales teammates.
What do you need.
- You are passionate about Sales
- You can sign an internship agreement with your University
- You can work 30-35 hours per week (Mon-Fri, with flexibility according to your academic schedule) and start asap.
- Fluent in English.
- Eager to learn, self-motivated, proactive and driven by achievement.
- Flexibility to adapt to different situations and ability to communicate on different levels, a creative concept of sales.Keen interest in a career in a high-performing sales culture
- Exceptional communication skills, both on the phone and in writing
- Ability to build rapport with potential customers quickly
- You're extremely driven, and love hitting targets
- Fantastic organisational and time management skills
