The IT Service Owner is responsible for operating an IT Service E2E within the defined SLA, including understanding and tracking the service dependencies. IT Service means the logical IT Service including one or more corresponding applications (for which a dedicated Application Responsible may have accountability). The IT Service Owner is the first point of contact for Operations, Support, Maintenance and overarching service lifecycle-related questions. During delivery of new features, the IT Service Owner ensures proper implementation of non-functional requirements together with the Application Responsible and System Architect and coordinates the transition into UAT and Production environments.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and prepare hardware for software installations or updates
• Use HP Service Manager to manage the CMDB component
• Order necessary assets (e.g., software packages, databases, VMs) to run the software
• Secure and configure environments per company standards (DNS, certificates, firewalls)
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to implement software packages
• Manage technical users, security roles (e.g., Oracle), AD groups, and IAM Core for access management
• Understand business permission requirements and provide appropriate guidance
• Perform platform lifecycle operations to address risks of outdated platforms
• Conduct error analysis for software issues and liaise with vendors for resolution
• Configure software and hardware components to meet hardening, logging, and security standards
• Plan, perform, and support system tests and version updates
• Automate recurring administrative/operative tasks
• Review and monitor system changes, ensuring operational readiness and problem detection
• Maintain product/process documentation, including infrastructure overviews, manuals, and security concepts
• Support 2nd-level user support and manage user permissioning in business-critical applications

Requirements

• BSc/BA in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or similar work experience
• Proven working experience with ISIS-Papyrus, ideally some certificates from vendor or experience in release upgrade
• Administration knowledge on (RedHat) Linux
• Concept knowledge on Oracle Database
• Knowledge in DEV/OPS tools like: Bitbucket, Gitlab, Octopus, Nexus, Harbor, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm are an advantage
• Scripting languages on Linux (Bash)
• Developing skills in JAVA are considered as an advantage
• The knowledge of (PL)SQL and the workload automation tool AWA is considered as an advantage
• Good knowledge and practical experience in solution design and system integration
• Good confidence and experience in working and navigation in a multi-national, global organization
• Initiative and Team player
• Good communication skills explicitly towards internal teams but also towards software vendor
• Fluent English language skills; Spanish, German, or French language skills are considered as an advantage
• Good skills in Traditional and Agile project management methodologies and corresponding toolset
