About the Role

We are looking for a
Sales Intern
to join our growing team and support our global sales operations. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-scaling FoodTech startup, working closely with our Sales Managers to help drive growth, optimize processes, and deliver exceptional service to both clients and partners.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Intern at Take a Chef, you will:

Sales Operations & Support

  • Assist the Sales team in managing inbound leads and supporting the full sales cycle.
  • Conduct initial client outreach, gather requirements, and prepare proposals.
  • Support follow-ups, demo scheduling, and lead nurturing to maximize conversion.

Client Experience

  • Help ensure a smooth and premium experience for clients by coordinating with chefs, partners, and internal teams.
  • Communicate product value clearly and effectively to prospective clients.

Market Research & Insights

  • Analyze trends in the hospitality, travel, and culinary sectors.
  • Support the creation of target lists, prospecting strategies, and sales materials.
  • Identify new opportunities and segments to expand our sales pipeline.

CRM & Reporting

  • Maintain and update our CRM (HubSpot) to ensure accurate data.
  • Support reporting activities and performance tracking for the Sales team.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Partnerships to support campaigns and initiatives.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, brainstorming sessions, and strategic planning activities.

Requirements

  • Strong interest in
    sales
    , business development, hospitality, or FoodTech.
  • Currently studying or recently graduated in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Economics, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Fluent in
    English & Spanish
    (B2+ level).
  • Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Previous internship experience in sales, customer success, or hospitality is a plus.
