About Tree-Nation

Tree-Nation is the largest reforestation platform that allows citizens and companies to plant trees all around the world and offset their CO2 emissions.

We use technology to make tree planting easy. Tree-Nation invented the virtual tree, the online forest, and many other software tools to provide a unique technological solution aimed at shortening the distance between remote projects and their sponsors, between people and companies that want to plant trees and don't know how to, and expert planters around the world who can take care of that.

Since our beginning in 2006, over 700,000 users and more than 20,000 companies have planted over 40 million trees using our platform, and we have successfully onboarded over 50 reforestation projects all around the world.

About this position

Your role as Head of Outbound Sales is to design, build, and validate Tree-Nation's outbound strategy from the ground up. You will be hands-on in developing outbound campaigns, testing messaging and tooling, and setting up the systems and integrations required to make outbound work at scale. The ideal candidate combines strong operational execution, technical fluency with sales tools and integrations, and a pragmatic, experiment-driven mindset. This role focuses on building a repeatable outbound engine, not managing a large team.

What you'll do

  • Build and manage a hybrid outbound sales team from scratch — owning strategy, tooling, targeting, messaging, metrics, and CRM systems from first experiments to repeatable, scalable playbooks.
  • Solve our biggest bottleneck: client software integration. Work cross-functionally to ensure our product connects seamlessly with client systems.
  • Drive mid-market and enterprise growth across Europe, the US, and Asia.
  • Collaborate closely with product and tech to turn platform features into simple, sellable narratives.
  • Represent Tree-Nation in key deals and negotiations.

What you'll bring

  • Proven B2B outbound sales leadership in SaaS or tech — with hands-on experience building systems from zero.
  • Deep experience in outbound sales systems, automation, and funnel optimization.
  • Fluency in English; other languages (e.g. Spanish or French) are a plus.
  • Hands-on CRM expertise — HubSpot or equivalent — including automation, pipeline architecture, custom workflows, and advanced reporting.
  • High technical literacy. You understand APIs, client integrations, and the friction points that matter.
  • Experience bridging product, tech, and sales to build smooth onboarding and integration paths.
  • Bonus: You've built or actively operated AI-assisted outbound workflows (e.g. agents, enrichment, routing, sequencing) and can help scale them responsibly.
  • Strong plus: analytical or technical background — you're comfortable reasoning about systems, not just narratives.
  • Mission alignment: climate doesn't need to be your background, but it should matter to you.
