Area Sales Manager Spain (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

  • Establishing and maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers in Spain.
  • Existing network of potential customers
  • Systematic acquisition of new customers via personal networks and targeted acquisition.
  • Preparing and implementing sales talks and product presentations.
  • Participation in trade fairs and events in Spain, and internationally if necessary, with professional follow-up of contacts.
  • Market, competition and customer analysis to identify new opportunities and trends
  • Preparation of quotations in coordination with engineering/service and follow-up until conclusion.
  • Maintaining the CRM system (leads, opportunities and forecasts) and providing regular reports to the sales management team.
  • Cooperating with internal departments (engineering, after-sales and marketing) to develop customer-specific solutions.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of sales strategies and campaigns for Spain.

Profile:

  • Several years' experience in B2B sales, ideally in mechanical engineering/industrial goods
  • Proven success in acquiring new customers, developing accounts and closing deals
  • Language skills: native Spanish; very good English; German advantageous
  • Strong customer focus, excellent communication skills, and confident negotiation abilities
  • Structured and independent working style, with a willingness to travel extensively within Spain
  • Confident use of CRM systems and MS Office
  • Data-driven approach (pipeline/KPI management)
  • Team player with the ability to explain complex technical solutions in an understandable way
