We are looking for an OpenShift Systems Technician / Developer to work on a stable project with a permanent contract, 100% remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Red Hat OpenShift platforms , ensuring their proper functioning, high availability, and operational continuity.
  • Manage OpenShift clusters: create projects, configure resources, deploy applications, manage version control, and monitor cluster status.
  • Operate and administer Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF) , managing distributed storage, persistent volumes, performance, capacity, and resilience policies.
  • Implement, configure, and maintain Velero for backups , restores, data protection, and disaster recovery in OpenShift environments
  • Monitor cluster and storage performance, identifying bottlenecks and applying preventative improvements.
  • Manage environment security: access control, certificates, policies, namespace and resource configuration.
  • Automate administration, deployment, and maintenance tasks using native OpenShift tools.
  • Diagnose and resolve incidents related to the platform, ODF storage, and backup and restore processes with Velero.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure efficient and secure application deployment.
  • Document procedures, configurations, incidents, and best practices to ensure traceability and standardization of the environment.

Requirements

  • Advanced Vocational Training (Information Technology and Communications) or Higher Degree: Computer Engineering or Telecommunications Engineering
  • At least 2 years of experience in the administration and operation of Red Hat OpenShift
  • At least 2 years of experience in the administration and operation of Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation
  • At least 1 year of experience in the administration and operation of Velero

Valuable Skills

  • Experience in the administration of IBM Cloud Pak for Data
  • Knowledge of:
