We are looking for: Senior Business Analyst – Payments & Digital Transformation
Key Responsibilities:- Lead functional analysis for large-scale payment transformation and integration initiatives with global financial institutions and multinational corporations.
- Define and document business requirements and functional specifications for integrations between banking systems and ERP/TMS platforms using ISO pain.001, pain.002, pacs.008, etc.), MT101, and API/H2H connectivity models.
- Collaborate with solution architects, payment operations teams, and compliance areas to ensure secure, scalable, and fully compliant solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and sessions with senior stakeholders to define processes, operating models, and functional roadmaps.
- Lead UAT planning and execution, prepare test cases, coordinate defect triage, and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
- Use AI-assisted productivity tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, JIRA Rovo) to enhance requirement traceability, documentation quality, and analysis efficiency.
Mandatory:
- 7+ years of experience in financial services, with at least 4 years focused on international payments, cash management, or treasury systems.
- Strong command of ISO 20022 formats (pain.001, pain.002, pacs.007, pacs.008, etc.), MT101, MT103, and banking connectivity models (H2H, API, EBICS, SFTP).
- Experience with ISO 20022 migration programs and CBPR+ message schemas.
- Exposure to TMS or ERP platforms (FIS Quantum, Kyriba, SAP or similar).
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as PSD2 and global payment schemes (TARGET2, T2S).
- Experience working in Agile environments (JIRA, Confluence).
- Fluency in English and Spanish (both will be tested).
- Experience using AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, JIRA Rovo) for documentation, analysis, and user story creation.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in business process modeling (BPMN), data mapping, and writing functional documentation (BRD, DDR).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and collaboration platforms.
- Basic prompt engineering skills applied to technical documentation or test case generation.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset leveraging digital and AI-enabled techniques.
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMP, ITIL, SWIFT Certified Specialist.
