About the role

We're seeking a
Business Analyst (Cards)
to join the
VisionPLUS Issuance
platform team. You'll drive requirements, documentation, and delivery for card-management features for financial institutions, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and stakeholders in a fully on-site, fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

  • Requirements elicitation:
    run workshops, gather/clarify functional & non-functional needs for new features and enhancements on VisionPLUS Issuance.
  • Documentation:
    produce epics, user stories with detailed
    acceptance criteria
    , business rules, process/data flows, and traceability.
  • Stakeholder management:
    align scope and priorities across business, tech, and external partners; manage change and sign-offs.
  • Solution design support:
    refine requirements with Dev/QA, assess feasibility, and support implementation hand-offs.
  • Testing & validation:
    contribute to test cases, support SIT/UAT, track defects to closure; validate that outcomes meet business goals.
  • Production support:
    analyze incidents, perform
    root-cause analysis
    , propose corrective/preventive actions.
  • Agile delivery:
    take part in ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retros) and keep Jira/Confluence artifacts up to date.

Must-have qualifications

  • 5+ years
    as a
    Business Analyst
    in
    Cards/Payments
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    card issuance platforms
    (e.g.,
    VisionPLUS
    , card management systems) and/or
    payment processing
    .
  • Solid understanding of the
    card lifecycle
    (enrollment, embossing/tokenization, authorizations, chargebacks/disputes, loyalty).
  • Strong Agile background (
    Scrum/SAFe
    ) and tooling (
    Jira, Confluence
    ).
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to translate between business and technical audiences.
  • Availability to work
    on-site in Madrid, 5 days/week
    .

Nice to have

  • Experience in
    banking/financial services
    delivery at scale.
  • Exposure to API specifications, data models, and non-functional requirements (performance, security, resilience).
  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory considerations in cards/payments.
