About the Role


We are recruiting on behalf of a growing Data Centre engineering consultancy, delivering electrical design across Data Centre and technology building projects.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Electrical Engineer to join their Madrid office, leading the design, development and supervision of Data Centre projects from concept through to completion.


What You Will Be Doing


  • Supporting the development of electrical design across all project phases: preliminary studies, conceptual design, basic design and detailed design.
  • Designing and developing electrical systems for Data Centres in compliance with international regulations and quality standards.
  • Preparing electrical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Managing and monitoring budgets using tools such as Presto.
  • Planning and monitoring projects using Microsoft Project.
  • Managing subcontractors, ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality and costs.
  • Preparing and supervising technical documentation including reports, measurements, drawings, specifications and construction details.
  • Identifying project risks and proposing corrective and preventive measures.
  • Developing process optimisation strategies to improve efficiency in project documentation.
  • Visualising and interpreting models in Revit, with coordination and clash detection in Navisworks.
  • Supporting site management and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.


What We Are Looking For


  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (Higher or Technical).
  • Minimum 2years’ experience in electrical design.
  • Experience in the design or delivery of Data Centre projects is highly valuable.
  • Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Solid knowledge of budget management and specialised software such as Presto.
  • Proficiency in planning tools such as MS Project.
  • Experience in subcontractor management and team leadership.
  • Knowledge of national and international electrical regulations.
  • Knowledge of BIM environments is valuable.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and leadership skills.
  • Availability to travel and supervise projects on-site within Spain. xqbhyrx


What Is On Offer
