About the Role

We are looking for two Design Coordinators (2–4 years of relevant experience) to join our Design team in Spain, supporting the development and coordination of design across our Data Centre projects.

We are looking for two different technical profiles:

• Design Coordinator – CSA (Architectural Focus): focused on the architectural and detailed construction elements within the CSA scope, including internal spaces, finishes and detailed interfaces rather than major civil or structural works.

• Design Coordinator – MEP (Mechanical or Electrical Focus): focused on the development and coordination of Mechanical or Electrical design, depending on the candidate’s technical background.

Both positions will work closely with Design, Construction, CSA, MEP, BIM, Commissioning, specialist subcontractors and consultants to ensure design information is coordinated, technically compliant, constructable and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

CSA – Architectural Focus

• Develop, review and coordinate architectural design information within the CSA scope using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate detailed elements including internal walls and partitions, ceilings, doors, finishes, façades, roofing and internal spaces, as applicable.
• Review drawings, layouts, sections and technical details to identify coordination and constructability issues.
• Coordinate CSA / MEP interfaces, including openings, penetrations, builders’ works and fire stopping.
• Review specialist subcontractor, consultant and supplier design information.
• Support the resolution of technical queries, RFIs and design changes.

MEP – Mechanical or Electrical Focus

• Develop, review and coordinate Mechanical or Electrical design information using AutoCAD.
• Coordinate drawings, layouts, schematics, service routes, equipment and associated technical information.
• Coordinate MEP interfaces with CSA and other disciplines, ensuring services are fully integrated within the project design.
• Review specialist subcontractor and supplier design information.
• Identify and support the resolution of technical, coordination and constructability issues.
• Ensure design considers installation, access, maintenance, testing and commissioning requirements.

Common Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design information throughout project delivery.
• Work closely with Construction teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable and aligned with site requirements.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and follow up technical actions.
• Work with BIM teams where required to support multidisciplinary coordination.
• Use Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) to access, share and manage project design information.
• Support drawing revisions, design deliverables and As-Built documentation.
