Position Mission
The resource will report to the specific Service Manager.
The resource will be responsible of execution of maintenance activities on the whole fleet of systems installed in the Area of reference and operate computers and hardware of the Measuring Systems installed on board during the railway measurements campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Execution of preventive and corrective Maintenance of High-Tech equipment on rail vehicle (coach roof/underframe)
- Repairing and troubleshooting, cabling and interconnections between equipment, including power supply
- Performing calibration & tuning of the Monitoring Systems as described in procedures
- Participating in measurement campaigns on the customer’s rail network;
- Operating and troubleshooting computers and hardware of Monitoring Systems during the inspection runs;
- Operation of SW Measuring systems, management of data storage, configuration of systems
- Collecting Data, Submiting the on-board track inspection results and reports to customer;
- Performing basic troubleshooting on Monitoring Systems;
- Providing local support for the system’s specialists, on site or remotely from Italian Offices
- Management of spare parts on customer facilities
- Suggesting improvement in product at 360°
- Management of Customer Referent directly involved and first assistant
- Diagnosis, Fault finding and Problem Solving

Technical Skills, Qualifications and Professional Experience
- Technical high school diploma, preferably in Electronics, Information Technology, Mechanics, or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience (working experience in electronic, automotive, railway or oil & gas industry)
- Fluent written and spoken Spanish; English or Italian is a plus
- Basic Windows OS computer use and knowledge
- Windows OS and LAN network installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting (preferably)
- Railway track structure knowledge is a plus
- Capability of reading and understanding electrical and mechanical drawings
- Use and knowledge of basic tools, basic crimping tools as well as test equipment like multimeter, oscilloscope, Signal generator
- Expertise of the basic electrical activities like cabling, crimping, soldering, networking
- Knowledge of conduits/cable path for data and power transmission between the systems
- Knowledge of cabling for electrical and special railway components like connector and termination for rail application, military

- Expertise of the basic mechanical activities like drilling, threading, sealing, cutting, painting
- Electrical soldering and Connector crimping and soldering
- Available to travel within Spanish territory, including weekends and night shifts, according to customer inspection runs
Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL): National agreement for Engineering Companies and Technical Design Offices, 12 monthly payments
