As a Senior Python Developer in Novartis Digital Finance, you design scalable Python applications that power AI-driven finance decisions. You operate at the intersection of software engineering, cloud technologies, and data science to deliver enterprise-grade solutions with real impact. You collaborate with global teams to operationalize ML and AI initiatives within a cloud-native architecture. You drive engineering excellence through testing, CI/CD, and code reviews while mentoring peers. This role offers meaningful work shaping AI-enabled finance at scale in a hybrid Barcelona environment.

Responsabilidades
  • Design and develop scalable Python applications for AI and finance solutions
  • Build secure, maintainable backend services and APIs for enterprise platforms
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to operationalize ML/AI solutions
  • Develop cloud-native applications and integrations using modern cloud and container technologies
  • Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability for business-critical workloads
  • Drive engineering excellence via automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices
  • Contribute to technical architecture decisions and mentor developers on best practices

Requisitos principales
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related xqbhyrx field
  • Proven experience developing enterprise-grade Python applications
  • Strong expertise in designing APIs and microservices
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS
  • Solid knowledge of SQL, software architecture, and clean coding principles
