For the preparation and implementation of HR measures, as well as to support our employees in HR topics at all levels within our global organisation, we are looking for an experienced HR Associate (M/F/d) in a permanent position at our Site in Torrejón de Ardoz, (Madrid) with immediate effect.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supporting employees and managers in all HR-related issues
- Maintaining and updating employee data in time recording and HR systems
- Answering questions on payroll accounting, income tax, salary changes, benefits Preparation and evaluation of various personnel statistics
- Preparation of evaluations within the scope of payroll accounting
- Correspondence in the personnel area (preparation of contracts, contract amendments, etc.)
- Correspondence with offices, authorities and health insurance companies
- Monitoring of deadlines, e.g. probationary periods, fixed-term employment contracts, etc.
- Preparation of certificates
- Carrying out and ensuring a proper registry
- Supporting local initiatives and measures, such as restructuring, staff training, information events, etc.
- Participate in global Smiths HR initiatives and projects that often require collaboration with different HR teams.

The Individual
- Bachelors Degree or recognized qualification as a human resources specialist or similar.
- 2-5 years professional experience in human resources, preferably in a shared services / HR operations environment.
- Proactive approach for Improvements in terms of HR related topics
- Ability to guide and support management in HR questions
- Knowledge of and experience with common HR systems
- Confident handling of Microsoft Office
- Good to very good knowledge of English
- Extremely accurate and structured way of working
- Ability to work in a team and organizational skills
