SoftwareONE the global leader in Cloud Services and Solutions is seeking Solutions Consultant to join a well-established Software License Management Services team that play a pivotal role in the success of our business.

The
_SoftwareONE Solution Specialist (Sol Spec) - SLM Specialist _is responsible for driving and co-owning
_Software License Management Services _sales and business development within his/her assigned region. The role functions as a partnership with the Business Development Manager Team and as a result is not limited to traditional “overlay role” restrictions. The Sol Spec is expected to take a consistently proactive approach to developing the technical solutions business in the region. The Sol Spec is the technical lead in the region for pre-sales (both professional services and managed services) customer engagements for the respective region. The role also serves as the liaison between the assigned sales team and customers and the professional services delivery resources which include both in-house and partner delivered services. The Sol Spec will scope professional services opportunities and assist in the creation and delivery of proposal and Statements of Work (SoW) to customers. The Sol Spec will be required to maintain an advanced level of technical knowledge across a broad set of IT Assets Management technologies and services.

The role:
Responsible for leading and executing in SoftwareOne Spain the specialised sales, strategy and positioning of Data Centre modernization solutions. SoftwareOne Spain has extensive experience in the management, operation and evolution of Datacenters.

This performance will be carried out in both new and existing customers developing and evolving the current activities towards new, much more efficient and scalable environments with the various Cloud technologies on the market and with the evolution of our services in IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.

The geographical scope of work will be national customers and their subsidiaries outside Spain if required. For the development of this activity you will have the support of the Key Account Manager and the DataCenter Solution Specialist. The position requires proactivity to work in customer territories, for demand generation and for the positioning of SoftwareOne solutions in Datacenter.

**Summary of responsibilities**:

- Development of the Datacenter Modernisation line of business.
- Manage the full sales cycle, first visit, deal review, negotiation, deal closure.
- Create a positive relationship with the account teams for the development of the business line.
- Generate, maintain and grow opportunity identification and closing in Datacenter Modernisation.
- Contribute to the development of relationships with our key public and private cloud partners.
- Partnership development for lead generation through Datacenter vendor partners.
- Internal communications and presentations for business line development.
- Responsibility for generating an accurate Datacenter pipeline and forecast.

What we need to see from you:
**Requirements**:

- Technology or similar background in accredited experience.
- More than 5 years of experience selling Datacenter products and services.
- Profile with ability to propose and expose complete solutions in Datacenter.
- Knowledge and relationship with the main public and private Cloud providers.
- Knowledge regarding pricing of the main hyperscalers according to technical or functional requirements of customers.
- Ability to build, develop and build trust with C-levels.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a sales environment.
