Service Business is crucial in the Alfa Laval Iberica´s growth strategy of as well as a critical driver for the Sales company Transformation. “We exist to accelerate the success of our customer, people and planet” is our company purpose and Service has huge contribution looking for the sustainability and highest performance in separation processes. We are looking for a Sales Engineer who will be responsible for developing this service business through the installed base analysis and selling services for High Speed Separators in Food, Pharma and Biotech sectors.
Your main responsibilities:
- Be active in the market and focus on making visits, meetings and interactions to customers, understanding and highlighting the value of our products and services.- Analyze and understand market insights and customers buying behaviors and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets.- Look for and manage leads from the market and customers and convert them in real business opportunities in order to ensure the pipeline.
What are the job requirements?- Agronomist, Industrial or Chemical Engineering degree or similar- Strong and solid commercial orientation with, preferably, at least 3-5 years’ of experience in technical sales.- Spanish, and English speaker (at least First Certificate / B2 level), Portuguese - nice to have, but not mandatory- Resident preferably in Madrid area (other options can be considered)- The position is located in our offices in Alcobendas- Availability to travel in Spain and Portugal- We value separation technology knowledge.
