We love to reimagine Native advertising in ways that thrill our customers and leave a lasting impact on the world around us.MGID is hiring a Head of Video Department to work with our owned and operated advertising team that delivers ads across the globe, who will reveal new product opportunities and help take our video production capabilities to the next level.

Think of your role as a helicopter. You need to have an overall view of all the activities that make up your project: scope, quality control, the schedule, your team, and so on, to be able to zoom in and deal with any crisis in any area. But you also need to be able to pull back, hover, and see how the whole picture looks together.Working closely with the CEO, Product, Publisher, and Sales Departments, you will be the driving force behind our organization’s revenue transformation.

Tasks
- Define the video production strategy, goals, and roadmap and own the full cycle of product development;
- Identify and implement enhancements and new features for our video product;
- Thorough understanding of the digital advertising landscape, ad tech, data partnerships, and technical integrations;
- Monitor and report on the success of enhancements and workflows;
- Act as a liaison between a wide range of internal clients, including Sales, Business Intelligence/Data Science, Content Acquisition, Programming, Partner Support, and Marketing;
- Closely monitor the impact of video product changes on revenue and key business metrics;
- Prioritize the implementation of new features and set specific timelines; troubleshoot video-related defects;
- Conduct research to identify user needs and gaps;
- Continue to evolve a highly efficient team of professionals: effectively coach, mentor and evaluate staff, delivering timely feedback, discipline, counseling, and performance reviews.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in product management experience, preferably in AdTech, or a related international company within the digital advertising field (DSP/SSP/Ad server);
- Strong management skills;
- Understanding of AdTech ecosystem;
- A proven track record of effectively leading and executing a scaled consumer-facing product;
- Experience leading complex initiatives, distinctive problem-solving, analytical abilities, and troubleshooting skills;
- Data-centricity — a deep curiosity about metrics, the ability to identify the right metrics and track and report back on impact;
- Creativity — you will have lots of fresh ideas and be hungry to test them and see the results;
- A strong communicator and a good listener by effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams;
- Being able to present ideas coherently and exceptional at building consensus among a diverse group;
- A global mindset and some expert knowledge on how digital products need to vary across markets while understanding the need for us to remain a scalable business;
- Open-minded and driven by the result;
- Must be exceptionally organized, and be able to work in a fast-paced changing environment;
- Experience with analytical tools (hands-on experience with BI tools).
