The Role

Maxeon is seeking a talented, hands-on Product Manager to join our Product Management team. This individual has innate curiosity and enjoys exploring unstructured problems and data to develop insights and solutions. They are comfortable interfacing internally and externally at all levels of an organization. In this role, they will represent Maxeon’s interests in legislative “build-local” initiatives as well as analyze and communicate strategic insights about market opportunities, competition, pricing, warranty, and other topics.

Essential

**Responsibilities**:
Represent Maxeon in governmental and industrial groups focused on regional manufacturing and technology initiatives.
Collaborate with leadership to prioritize government initiatives based on strategic value, gaining internal alignment on proposals, and representing and executing within the initiatives’ working groups.
Synthesize trends and key competitors’ product offerings and pricing in the region, and monitor the ongoing performance of the product to recommend changes in product, price or positioning.
Monitor product and regional market trends with the context of Maxeon products with other relevant system components (including but not limited to monitoring, inverters, storage, trackers, services, etc) and how trends in those components affect the Maxeon product offering.
Maintain and evolve long-term pricing models with current market & technology to synthesize & communicate strategic impacts to product portfolio and inform prioritization of RnD efforts.
Periodically reconcile warranty provision model to quantify impact from claims, actual spending, contractual obligations, and product performance.
Identify key market opportunities and translate them into strong business cases for product development initiatives including specific product characteristics (features, specifications, etc.) and market potential in the region for proposed products.

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
BS in technical field; MBA or M.S degree is a plus.
Experience in EU policy-making and photovoltaic technology preferred.
Solid foundation in technical and business arenas, ability to learn and adapt quickly, and demonstrated ability to frame and drive business decisions.
Ability to analyze an unstructured problem through both quantified techno-financial metrics and a holistic strategic viewpoint.
Understanding of energy economics, products in the renewable ecosystem, and current EU policy.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and a “can do” attitude.
Ability to work autonomously to meet multiple concurrent objectives and within an international team, with diverse cultures.
Highly proficient in spoken and written English, other languages are a plus.
Occasional travel to site and customer locations to be expected.
Role is based in EU time zones.

**Education and Experience**:
Preferred 5-10 years relevant work experience OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience.
