MPS Executive Search is now searching for a Regional Sales Manager for a company that is offering a SaaS Solution within Edtech, located in Madrid, Spain. The company is a startup, owned by a solid and greatly successful company based in Sweden.

The solution that the company markets is an educational web-based software, recognized as the market leading and most user friendly in its field, and is today considered to be the most successful in Sweden within the segment. The company is now looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to grow the business further in their second biggest market, Spain.

**Who you are**:

- A proactive and experienced manager with a strong sales & biz dev profile with interest in SaaS-solutions specific in Edtech.
- You will have the capability to form, manage and develop relationships with our portfolio of clients and lead the expansion of the product in Spain.
- You will be expected to be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities and growing our client portfolio in size and the accounts within.
- Ideally, you will have experience, understanding and a network from working with the educational sector as well as SaaS-solutions.

**What you will do**:

- Your primary focus will be to grow the business by closing deals with new customers.
- You will autonomously research and study the target market in order to build a successful long
- and short-term sales strategy in the market, guided and supported by the team.
- You will understand and communicate the product's value as the tool for the existing and future clients and demonstrate the value of what the tool will do to enable the success in doing their business.
- You will drive the day-to-day activities of the sales team as a player coach and contact potential clients by all channels possible.

**Main responsibilities include**:

- Coach and lead our current sales team to make sure they are performing as expected
- Sell our service/platform to your own portfolio of pre-schools
- Achieve our country sales targets
- Take responsibility for the overall structure and planning of the sales process, everything from marketing to follow up paying customers
- Onboard and recruit new sales people, as we expand further
- At least 4-5 years of sales experience with proven results ideally from within the educational market and/or software to small enterprises
- Experience in sales leadership, with a strong understanding of training and motivating team members
- Driven by achieving results and like to work with ambitious sales targets in a growing business
- Experienced with CRM tools (ideally Pipedrive), and how to use data to optimize sales
- Savvy with Apps and web-based tools like Google
- A good listener, organized and trustworthy when working with customers
- Fluent in Spanish and solid in English
- Expect some travel to meetings in Madrid (and a few trips to Sweden yearly)

The remuneration model is largely performance-based and based on how well you have made the business grow.
