David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO company that is looking to recruit a Spanish speaking Sales Partner Engineer for their Barcelona office.

Position: Sales Partner Engineer

Location: Barcelona, Spain

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary + bonuses.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Act as a technical liaison for business partners in order to help them remove technical blockers at large
- Manage and develop a strong technical relationship with business partners in order to empower them to launch a successful pilot or proof of concept
- Display great client management skills as our client's brand ambassador & engage continuously business clients to create tailored solution offerings
- Collaborate closely with partners during the migration phase to ensure they are equipped with all the tools needed for a successful deployment delivery
- Lead partners toward customer acceptance of the technical proposal, commercial bid & finally of the contractual agreement.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Native/fluent in Spanish, verbal and written. Fluent in English (at least B2 level)
- Holder of Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent studies or professional practice
- Previous experience working as a Technical Sales Engineer, Pre-sales Engineer or Consultant in a Cloud Computing environment or equivalent
- Expertise with cloud computing concepts (e.g. Big Data, PaaS, and IaaS technologies, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience of compelling technical presentations
- Solid work experience in channel management, pre-sales or sales
- Outstanding communication and partner management skills
- Proficiency in data and information management (using and/or managing databases) will be preferred
- Sound knowledge and practice of networking concepts (e.g. routing, VPNs, load balancers, and firewalls)
- Previous experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable distributed systems will be considered as a strong advantage
- Agility to learn quickly, understand & work with new technologies, methodologies & solutions in the cloud computing industry
