A service based in Wantirna South is looking for a passionate and organised Coordinator for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time position at 27 hours per week all year round - the perfect balance You will be supporting the Senior Coordinator for this area, predominantly based out of Knox Garden, but also attending other services nearby as needed.

Hours will be Monday -Friday, 07:00 - 09:00 AM ( Rise then Shine Program ) and 03:00 - 06:00 PM ( Stay and Play Program ) plus 3 additional admin hours.

In addition to a competitive salary, there is also a $1500 commencement bonus at the completion of first month plus another $1500 loyalty bonus at 12 months + split shift allowance + uniform allowance + other benefits + super.

About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

About the service
Based in Wantirna South, you would be leading a stable team, along with the training and support of an excellent Senior Coordinator. They have a positive relationship with both the school and its students, which you would get to build on as you grow in the role. There's also plenty of room for creativity and planning - the floor is yours

Who are we looking for?
**A few basics you need to have**: Organised and able to manage admin tasks Passionate about working with kids and creating fun experiences Inspired and enthusiastic demeanor Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children Australian work rights Holds, is working towards or is willing to obtain a Diploma in an ACECQA approved area (see the ACECQA website for more information)
