Knox Gardens OSHClub is looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Coordinator to provide engaging services for children in our before and after school care capacity. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, leading a team of Educators at a medium sized (69 licence capacity) service in Wantirna South. This is a fantastic opportunity for those willing to run their own OSHC service with great support structure provided by the leadership team.
**Hours are as follows**: Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 09:00AM ( Rise then Shine Program ) and 03:00 - 6:00PM ( Stay and Play Program ) + additional admin hours. You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service. Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents. Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management. Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

About the school
Knox Gardens OSHClub is an existing medium sized service that caters to an integrated community with an average of around 15-20 children a day for their Rise the Shine Program and 25-40 children in their Stay and Play Program. This beautiful service in Wantirna South has their own dedicated room set up with varied play area, an office and a separate kitchen by itself and dedicated toilets for our OSHC children to use.
Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the job and sector, but a few basics you need to have: Enjoy working with kids. Strong and clear communication. Team player with a desire to become a service leader. Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it) and a state check for working with children. Australian work rights.
