JOB DESCRIPTION:
This role is responsible for ensuring that all internal initiatives are properly presented and approved in line with the Hotelbeds Approval Matrix.
It requires communication with top management on the final approvals of the initiatives as well as providing support and clarifications of the business cases in case of any doubts. To keep the process robust but understandable, this role needs to provide advice on the preparation of the business cases and identify the correct approval audience, organize regular Investment Committee meetings and prepare documentation for presentations, etc.

This role manages the entire Intellectual Property portfolio of Hotelbeds, meaning the trademarks and domains, and communicating with our external advisors on the renovations and suspensions, which makes sure that all of the brands are protected in selected countries and Hotelbeds brands are not facing any infringing activity from third parties. This role also requires liaising internally with stakeholders to seek the protection in the correct trademark class and country.

This role is providing support in corporate legal area, reviewing drafted documents, gathering signatures and ensuring that the documents are safely stored in the corporate books, assuring compliance with local requirements.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Coordinate and manage the approval process at all stages of the business cases, ensuring good communication with all stakeholders at all times.
- Daily monitoring of (potential) business cases submitted and providing advice on the process.
- Review the business cases before they are issued for L2, L1 and L0 Approval and communicating with business case owner on the improvements in the business cases.
- Preparation of the Investment Committee pack as well as organization and attendance on the Investment Committee meeting
- Application of improvements to The Approver Tool based on the influx of business cases
- Identify contracts that have been renewed without following the approval process
2. Manage Risk Management activities and tasks:

- Help to establish and communicate ERM vision across the organization.
- Assist in implantation of a bespoke ERM Infrastructure.
- Integrate Risk management with strategic management process.
- Assist in developing and communicate ERM policies.
- Establish, communicate and facilitate use of appropriate ERM methodologies, tools & techniques.
- Establish and follow-up an appropriate framework to facilitate collection and analysis of data and information.
- Facilitate sharing of risk management best practice across the organization.
- Provide guidance to functions while acting as a centralized resource centre.
- Proactively engage the Risk Champions to monitor & report the risks, build tools & processes, drive risk informed decision making and enhance risk informed execution.
- Ensure that a comprehensive and continuous risk identification process is in place.
- Identify Risk Ownership.
- Monitor and report the progress of Mitigation Action Plans.
- Ensure that cultural issues with respect to Risk Management are effectively managed.
- Monitor the Top entity level risks.
3. Provide support in Policies & Procedures documentation and record keeping
- Periodically review risk policies, procedures, reporting templates and framework to ensure everything is up to date.
- Assist in the implantation of a formal Policies/ Procedures process management. Assist in the execution of the compliance topics training plan
- Create monthly reports of approved business cases for distribution across functions. This report facilitates the overview of the approved cases
Skills and experience:

- High level of organization and coordination skills in order to manage several business areas at the same time.
- Quick learner and collaborative mind to be able to solve out tasks effectively and in the shortest time possible
- Ability to communicate in several languages in a professional and issue solving matter, meaning writing clear statements and questions
- Previous years of experience in a corporate environment, in the Compliance department, preferably more than 3 years
- Previous experience in an international environment
