**We're hiring a Japanese-speaking UX Researcher**

We're looking for a Japanese-speaking UX Researcher to join our multi-national team at Bally's interactive. As a User Experience Researcher (UXR), you'll help our team of Designers, Product Owners, and Engineers understand user needs. You'll play an essential role in creating useful, usable, and delightful products. You'll explore user behaviours and motivations by conducting primary research such as user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and behavioural analysis.

**You will**:

- Be knowledgeable of a wide range of UX research methods and techniques, such as usability studies, field research, the creation of user personas, survey research, and analytics.
- Define, plan, and conduct user research to inform design decisions for various products and experiences.
- Work with Designers, Product Managers, Engineers and other UXRs to prioritise research opportunities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Take a holistic view of our business and our users and their behaviour, and proactively identify gaps and opportunities for new research.
- Evangelise the critical role research plays in building successful products and experiences and be able to speak to the business about the importance of research and convince business leaders to engage in research activities.
- Be a superior communicator with exceptional presentation skills, with an ability to transfer research findings/insights to a diverse audience from senior management to product owners, to engineers and constructively integrate feedback.

**Required Experience**:

- Experience in a research role.
- Fluent English and Japanese both written and spoken.
- Have demonstrable experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
- Proficient with planning, scoping, conducting, analysing, and reporting research findings.
- Casino & Sports betting knowledge is a massive plus.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma and Miro.
- Experience with insights tools like Hotjar and GA4
- Experience with user testing tools like Maze, UserTesting or UserZoom
- Expert knowledge of the different user research methods and when to use them.
