**The Position**

Reporting to the Director of Financial Operations, the Finance controller will support the financial and accounting processes in the company. This includes implementing new processes and systems to ensure accurate, timely, and scalable financial planning, reporting and accounting, establishing a strong reporting framework and internal governance structure, supporting internal operational processes and defining the key business metrics to monitor the company's business performance. Finally, this person will need to regularly support the Sales team in pricing analysis and preparing business cases/value propositions for sales opportunities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the Global financial budgeting and forecasting process.
- Support the monthly closing process across our legal entities, ensuring accurate and fully compliant financial statements.
- Support customer invoicing, AR management, and cash flow management.
- Execute expense control, and ensure quality documentation from suppliers.
- Prepare and track monthly financial reports, analyzing differences between the results and budget/forecast relating to sales, costs, and other P&L lines.
- Support the implementation of new accounting and SaaS reporting systems to ensure accurate, timely,y and scalable financial planning, reporting, and accounting.
- Support the implementation of sales operations & financial controls in accordance with the industry standards.
- Actively support the CFO and the Director of Financial Operations in driving the performance of the company.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success in relation to pricing, project execution, and preparation of business cases for sales opportunities.

**KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**:

- +5 years of directly related experience or other similar position
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent, MBA or master’s degrees in business or accounting and finance preferred.
- Passionate about technology and life sciences.
- Excellent oral communication and writing in English and Spanish.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with the hunger to succeed; act with a startup mindset: have urgency and grit, be adaptable to change, and be a team player
- Proven track record, strong business acumen, problem solver, data-driven with an analytical approach, proactive and autonomous.
- An ability to take any problem, analyze its roots, and provide recommendations to management.
- Ability to summarize and present complex plans to Management and key stakeholders
- Obsessed with continuous improvements, looking for new ways to do things more efficiently and drive automation.

**SKILLS**:

- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Ease and adaptability in working with various systems
- C1 English Level
- ** NICE TO HAVE**:

- Familiarity with various ERP systems
- G Suite expert (Sheets, Presentations), Office Suite expert
