FINANCIAL CONTROLLER
- For a major Dutch multinational, we are looking for an experienced and proactive controller, who can manage the finance and control department of the subsidiaries in Spain and Latam. You will work closely with a team of 4 regional controllers (Spain, Chile, Perú and Colombia) and you are reporting to the local director, group controller (Holding) and Chief Financial Officer (Holding).
- You are playing an important role within the company in reporting financial matters to the regional manager and you are responsible for correct, complete and timely financial and commercial reporting. It is expected that you will develop and improve the finance function within the company.
- You are a strong business partner who can challenge the business and management team. You therefore have strong communication skills and you like to be involved in the business.
- The function is located in Barcelona and there is a possibility to partial work remote.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and develop the finance & control department.
- Correct, complete and timely financial and commercial group reporting
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes in cooperation with the business and the management team.
- Group controlling and analysis.
- Working capital control and manage liquidity position.
- Contribute to the improvement of cost control / awareness and revenue margins*
- Optimization and monitoring of financial control systems and processes in accordance with the applicable legislation and regulations.
- Timely and correct compliance with statutory and tax requirements.
- Lead the internal and external audits for the Spanish entity including the subsidiaries.
- Contribute to the control and mitigation of contractual risks.
- Management of an insurance portfolio which adequately covers company's business risks.
- Further development and management of an effective and efficient management information system.
- Proactive support of management with regard to both operational and strategic matters.
- Communication with local banks, auditors, tax-, insurance
- and legal specialists and other external advisors.
**Requirements**:

- Have at least a bachelor's degree in finance, economics or applied science from a University or equivalent qualifications.
- Have at least 10 years relevant working experience in an international environment as group or financial controller.
- You are an advanced user of SAP Business Unit.
- You are familiar with construction and software organizations.
- You have a broad experience with internal control, management and statutory reporting, project accounting, tax, insurance and cash management.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in Spanish and English.
- Leadership skills.
- Affinity with realizing a modern, data-driven finance function in which digitization and the use of smart (reporting) tools play an important role.

Estudios mínimos
- Have at least a bachelor's degree in finance, economics or applied science from a University or equivalent qualifications.

Experiência mínima
- Have at least 10 years relevant working experience in an international environment as group or financial controller.

Idiomas mínimos
- English high level.

Requisitos valorables

Knowledge of SAGE is highly valued.
