**Job Description**:
As a Fraud Analyst you will be at the front line of fraud management to monitor, identify and prevent fraudulent activities within Verse.
You will:

- Identify, monitor and mitigate all types of fraud
- Review and manage fraud alert queues independently to identify potential fraud and abuse
- Detect and escalate new fraud trends
- Conduct preliminary investigations to determine if fraudulent activity is occurring and take necessary action to close accounts as required.
- Handle escalations from the Customer Service Team
- Help improve fraud detection rules and machine learning accuracy
- Propose solutions to mitigate fraud
- Manage chargebacks disputes in a timely manner
- Respond to law enforcement bodies and other related institutions inquiries in a timely manner
- Engage with customers and third parties accordingly

**Qualifications**:

- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
- Attention to detail and the ability to connect the dots to identify patterns
- Quick feet thinking and a proactive attitude to get things done
- Experience managing fraud in payments environment: KYC, PCI, 3DS, Digital Wallet, Instant Payments Schemes (SEPA), Mobile Wallet, Online Banking, Wires (SWIFT)
- Experience managing fraud from a Merchant perspective is a plus
- Experience working with BI tools like Looker, DataStudio or Tableau is a plus
- Ability to create queries in SQL, BigQuery, DBeaver, MySQL, Postgre is a plus
- Proficiency in English is required. German, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian is a plus
