The function's main responsibilities are to originate and support the development of new wind and hybrid high quality projects across the EMEA&LATAM region via its own resources or development partnerships that are established and managed by the team. **Responsibilities** - Preparation of spatial analyses of potential buildable areas for renewable energy project with main reference to On-shore, Off-shore wind farm, Hybrid Projects and PTX, and required documentation based on applicable regulations - Conduct site visits as needed during the whole permitting process, guiding internal and external parties. - Use advanced cartography tools and software to analyse and visualize geographical data, wind/PV resources, maps, local constraints, infrastructures creating maps where buildable area for wind farm development are optimally displayed - Preparation and optimization of windfarm layouts in coordination with other internal expert/specialist in accordance with currently applicable regulations, market standards or established guidelines. - Research, process, and create geodata, as well as further develop spatial data infrastructure, including preparation and compilation all GIS data, maps, layers, and any other documents required for project development. - Analysis of Noise, Shadow flickering and interference for the wind farm in compliance with the country rules under EIA/permitting process - Interfacing with Vestas Siting Specialist team and external specialised services providers for any report preparation - Provide technical explanation to key stakeholders involved in the permitting phase when requested. - Optimise and manage on SW and GiS tools all the Resources Measurement Plans (Mesoscale Resource Sources, Met Mast, Metocean data, Lidar and/or Floating Lidar) for specific projects and country pipelines, involving third party Technical Advisors, in coordination with internal Vestas wind and site specialists, construction team, OFF-Shore and PTX departments. - Support the assessment of equipment (e.g.met mast, lidar, etc) strategy in terms of number/ location of the measurement equipment to be installed or Floating lidar for Off-Shore to be deployed; control quality of Met mast sensor configuration according to the wind industry best practice, Monitor the proper met mast mounting activities in compliance with IEC 61400-12-1 certification and calibration. - Monitor met mast provider obligations and deliverables under the contract. - Be in coordination with the technical development process among Project Manager, EIA specialists and Vestas Technical Departments (including BOP, Construction, Siting Specialist etc) - Coordinating input from technical specialists and writing of the due diligence reports. **Qualifications** - From 5 years of experience on background in Renewable Energy development and permitting - Envioromental/ Civil or Energy Engineering degree - Proficient in GIS tools such as Arc GIs /QGIS, Global Mapper, and commonly used wind industry tools such as CAD, windPRO, WAsP, Windographer and Openwind - Economics, Administration and Management - Knowledge of business management and financial modelling principles, M&A transaction etc - fluency in English both orally and in writing. - Planning and Development of Energy Plant - Energy market knowledge, experience and knowledge of best practise, planning and permitting process of RES projects **Competencies** - Leadership ability and/or previous managerial experience with project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and lead complex, cross-functional and geographical tasks. - Experience in the preparation of prequalification documentation and follow-up tender procedure for external subcontractors until the awarding. - Proven experience in planning, valuation, permitting of renewable energy projects Experience in the assessment of Wind Farm projects or energy plant and infrastructure will be also appreciated - Attitude to frequently travel and regular site visits. **Additional Information** Please upload your CV in English.
