**Expo and Partnerships Coordinator -**South EMEA (Internship) (M/F/d)**
Internship period: Starting immediately for a 6-month period

**Position summary**Reporting to the Partnership Manager, this position is held within the Global Partnerships EMEA

Department.

The Expo & Partnership Coordinator will be an integral part of the IRONMAN Global Partnerships

team. The primary responsibility for the role is to manage the IRONMAN expo process from start to

finish for all IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events in the South EMEA region, including creating

exhibitor guides, floor plans, and being the main point of contact for vendors pre, during, and post

event. Secondary responsibilities will include supporting the Partner Manager with management of

Event and VIK partners, and the Activations Manager with partnership activations projects for the

events.

The role will include managing IRONMAN Expo vendors, providing onsite management of expo set

up and breakdown, developing exhibitor guides, floor plans and acting as the liaison for vendors

before, during and post event.

The role will include information research, preparation of reports and supporting the sales process.

The role will provide a 360-degree exposure to the IRONMAN commercial procedure from conception

to completion.

**Key Responsibilities**1. Expo management**- Act as liaison with Expo vendors including IRONMAN partners.
- Produce and develop Expo exhibitor guide information
- Provide detailed Expo exhibitor floor plans
- Attend races, including weekends to provide onsite management of Expo set up and

breakdown

**2. Partner management support**- Be the key point of contact for a selection of IRONMAN VIK, Event & Expo Partners with the

purpose of managing their sponsorship assets in line with their business objectives, ensuring

all contractual assets are delivered to the highest standard
- Schedule regular status calls, based upon account size - to ensure ongoing communication

and account management. Partners will be based in, Italy, Portugal, Spain, & Andorra, so

travel is required
- Oversee partner on site activation and delivery of sponsorship assets
- Support the Partnership Manager in the delivery of post-race reports including media

summaries both internally and to partners
- Work with other Team members within the following areas: Operations, Athlete Services and

Marketing

- Strong attention to detail
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Ability to think quickly, strategically and manage multiple priorities
- Must be able to travel as needed basis to visit partners and attend IRONMAN races
- Fluent in Catalan, Spanish and English (Written & Verbal)
- A third language would be an advantage (Italian or Portuguese)
