**FUNCTIONS**: Reporting to the COO. Job Overview: Define together with the COO the budget and the annual operating plan, setting short - and medium-term objectives with the ultimate goal of achieving results. Lead the department team, acting as a reference for the existing team and contributing to their professional growth. Build and maintain a close relationship with other departments (Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, Continuous Improvement, Q ).. Responsibilities & duties: Responsible for logistic activity across Supply Chain: raw materials, semi finished and finished products flow. Responsible of Intra-logistics management, Import/Export activity, Intercompany Orders across international offices.. Responsible of Logistics Department Budget elaboration and follow up. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results. Plan, organize, direct and execute optimal operations of the Logistics department personnel to improve indicators set by management. Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data related to Logistics KPIs. Commit to plant safety procedures. Remain up to date with the latest best practices and Supply Chain management concepts. Promote a relationship of trust with other departments in all topics related to Logistics activity. Requisites Engineering degree required and a Masters in Supply Chain would be highly valued. At least 6 years experience as a Director / Head of Logistics or Supply Chain in an industrial manufacturing company. Experience in J.I.T. Applications welcome from the automation sector. Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement background required. Proficiency English level is essential. Proactive attitude and "Change Agent" approach
