**JOB DESCRIPTION**:

**ACTIVITIES**

The duties and responsibilities include:

- Manage and enhance the company’s international supply chain strategy.
- Manage international shipping and logistics operations, including import/export activities. Collaborate with logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and policies.
- Coordinate external production and procurement to align supply with demand.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate supply chain performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain metrics and performance to senior management.
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize excess inventory.
- Implement inventory management best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues related to quality, delivery, and cost.
- Train and guide employees under her/his responsibility.
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
- Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents).
- Build strong relationships with distributors (including deliverables, timelines, new products, scrap or discontinued operations, etc.).
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams to secure a satisfactory customer experience.
- Work with finance, sales, and Engineering department to determine best vendors and distributors.
- Coordinate with Finance and Administration to ensure integrated internal controls, timely payment of vendors and full, auditable support documentation.
- Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain.

**EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUNG**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, Industrial Engineer, or equivalent experience.
- Master in Procurement and Supply Chain Management/ Project Management/ Others

**SKILLS**
- Previous working experience in a Supply Chain Department or similar tasks for at least 5 years.
- Hands on profile.
- Problem solver mindset.

- Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as to think strategically and laterally.
- Strong planning skills.
- Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills.
- Good time management, with the ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy and keep to deadlines.
- Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners and the ability to lead a team.
- IT literacy, skills in Excel and the ability to handle electronic data and understanding of risk management in the context of the supply chain.
- Strong sense of personal integrity and commitment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral English.
