Head of Customer Solutions (f/m/d)

The Head of Customer Solutions role offers the chance for both self-growths, but also growth of Rhenus' potential. In your role as Head of Customer Solutions you will independently look after and develop our customer relationships in accordance with our overall sales strategy. You will report directly to the Head of Freight Road Managing Director.***

**What you can expect**:

- You will continuously analyze customer potential and manage cross-business unit projects to provide customers targeted solutions from the products of the Rhenus Group.
- Furthermore, you regularly check the profitability of the business controlling instruments and consistently implement necessary adjustments to the customers.
- In addition, you are responsible for the acquisition of strategic customers - including the coordination of the participation in the tendering process.
- Taking both parties into account, you will act as mediator between key accounts and our branches in Europe.
- You will carry out a preliminary review of the contracts, determine in with the legal and insurance departments to determine the elements to be negotiated and then implement them yourself in discussions with clients.
- Last but not least, you support the implementation of customers into our processes, keep an eye on all KPIs and implement CIP measures as well as managing annual sales figures and cost control for the entire team.

**What you bring**:

- Master’s degree in business administration ideally with a focus on sales and/or logistics or similar relevant field.
- Alternatively, you can draw on sound, relevant experience in field sales in the forwarding industry.
- You are very familiar with CIP processes and implementations as well as process structures.
- You are proficient in MS Excel and CRM systems - and have a good technical understanding.
- As standard, you possess the ability to communicate excellently in English to a full professional proficiency, possibly another foreign language as well as an engaging manner and a willingness to travel.
- Last but not least, you will score points with organizational skills and the ability to accept setbacks as a challenge.
